Was repeatedly lied to, insulted, and threatened! Read on... Was told to wait 45 minutes to have my car inspected. After waiting an hour, I approach the desk and ask the status of my car. The lady at the desk tells me that my car is being inspected as we speak and would be ready in a few minutes. I sit down, wait a few more minutes, and look in the parking lot, where my car is still sitting. It hasn't moved. I go back to the desk and ask if my car was even taken in yet for the inspection. Lady at the desk tells me, "Yes, it's all done, I'm just waiting on some paperwork first". I go out to look at my car, and there is no inspection sticker, and no indication it has even been moved. I go back to the lady at the desk and tell her that it hasn't been inspected yet. Rather than acknowledge her lying or apologizing, she tells me to wait and that she would get someone to inspect it now. There was no queue, she just forgot to have the inspection done and casually lied twice when I tried to address it. I am frustrated at this point and ask why she would lie about the status of my car. Rather than address the question she told me to sit down and that my car would still be finished within a few minutes (aka. why should I care that she is wasting my time). Meanwhile, another gentleman in the service center tells me to calm down. Even though I am calm, I say that it is poor customer service, at which point the gentleman proceeds to tell me that I should "stop bitching" and that I should go somewhere else. I ask to speak to the owner, Randy. These two individuals refuse to get him. I ask if I can go find him, because I recognize him and his son from MEMO meetings. The gentleman tells me that if I go looking for him, he has a dog that will bite my leg off. I am taken aback and ask for the gentleman's name so that I can leave a negative review and indicate to future customers to avoid him. He doesn't give his name and instead asks for my name so he can harass me online. Randy then walks in to the service center and I relay the sequence of events to him and calmly voice my displeasure. The lady behind the desk then starts yelling about how she did nothing wrong and begins playing the victim. Rather than do anything to ameliorate the situation, Randy asks, "what do you want me to do about it?" I pay and leave. This is not the first incident I have had here. About 6 months prior, I had pulled in to Randy's on a weekend to put air in my tires. There was a gas tanker in the lot, but I was not blocking it in any way since the air pump is on the side of the building. While I'm putting air in the tires an employee walks out and starts rudely shouting at me that I shouldn't be here while the gas tanker is here. I'm confused as to why, since there were no cones, barriers, indications etc that the lot was closed. When I say that I didn't see any indication that the lot was closed, he shouts insults and expletives at me and tells me to leave. Great culture and people all around.
There was a que and that was why there was a wait time for your Inspection. The lady at the counter confused your car with the car that was currently having an inspection performed. That was why she told you it was being inspected. Your car was completed in just under an hour like you were told when you came in for your Inspection. You did not ask to speak to Randy you informed the team you were going to find him. The team told you not to go upstairs and behind closed doors. He was also not in his office at the time. You where disrespectful to the lady to the point you had her in tears. You tried to drive between the gas truck and the building to wedge your car to get free air. A space barely big enough to fit a car and could have hit the fuel lines coming off the tanker filling our underground tanks creating a major environmental disaster.
